Excel Plug-In Random Crash or Not Appearing Ribbon

After the excel plugin has been downloaded from https://tools.oxfordeconomics.com/ExcelPlugin/Downloads.aspx, please ensure you extract the .XLL file from the zip file and store it on a local, permanent folder, on your computer, before running it. You can do this by opening the zip file and then copying/pasting the correct .xll file (most commonly the 64 bit.xll), or by hitting the extract all button and saving it to your desired folder.

If the plugin is ran from a temporary location, it will often run into performance issues.

If you think you have installed the plugin but it's not showing in your ribbon, or if you are having other problems, please confirm the location of the file. You can double-check this by opening excel and clicking on file, then options, and then select Add-Ins. You should see the Oxford Economics Excel Add-in if it has been installed and the location will show underneath.
