How to enable diagnostic logging
For some problems, the Global Model Workstation (GMW) log files may contain insufficient information to identify the cause. In this case, we may ask you to enable diagnostic logging by following the steps below.
Because diagnostic logging may affect performance, it is not enabled by default and will be automatically disabled the next time you launch GMW.
- Launch the Global Model Workstation application
- Select Help -> Enable diagnostic logging from the homepage
- Restart GMW as prompted for the change to take effect
- Reproduce the problem that you need help with
- From the main menu, select Help -> Draft diagnostic email to send us the log files
- Close the Global Model Workstation application.
The next time you launch it, diagnostic logging will have been disabled again.
